Our Story

I started TRUS at 16, but the idea behind it began long before that. Growing up, I was always active playing sports, running, working out. But I also had a serious sweet tooth. Candy was my go-to snack, my little escape. The problem was, the stuff I loved most was packed with sugar and empty calories, and it didn’t align with the lifestyle I was trying to build.

So I spent two years developing a better option something that actually felt like candy but supported my body and my goals. That’s how TRUS was born: a protein-packed, zero-sugar, low-calorie snack that gives you the satisfaction of candy without all the negatives.

But if I’m being honest, this company is about more than just candy. I built TRUS during a time in my life when I was really struggling mentally, emotionally. I felt stuck. I was young, yeah, but I was in a dark place. And the thing that helped me find my way out wasn’t business was movement. Going to the gym. Going for a run. Playing the sports I loved. That’s what gave me clarity, confidence, and trust in myself.

That’s what TRUS stands for. To me, TRUS isn’t just a product it’s a community. A mindset. A movement for people who want to grow, who want to push through their hard days, and who believe in becoming the best version of themselves even if that looks different every day.

Some days, you run 20km. Other days, just getting out of bed is a win. I’ve been there. I know what that feels like. And I wanted to build a brand that gets that. That encourages people to show up for themselves with something real, something that fuels both your body and your mindset.
At TRUS, we’re not just selling snacks. We’re building something bigger a family, a movement, a place where people feel supported, motivated, and understood.

So if you're on your own journey whether it’s physical, mental, or both I hope TRUS can be a part of it.
Thanks for being here.
